Today, I have been writing up profiles for each of the 52 life paths represented by the cards. I am crying once more. This is a surprisingly moving process as a kind of transcendent awareness falls on me. The unifying theme of the Hero's Journey emerges.
Each of these cards represents not just characteristics, karma, and life issues: each is a path, a key, a way through to what we all ultimately seek. We each find ourselves in the midst of great questions and obstacles. We find truth where we find it; we find love within. And we find the way by traveling it. Its right in front of you; and what you seek isn't right in front of me. It has been provided for you, in your language, on YOUR path. Your path contains its own keys, challenges and strategies.
I am more profoundly moved than I can say, as I write up each card, feeling and knowing from a very deep place within me that there is one beam of light shining down on every path. I must call it grace, though I know each of us may experience it differently. Some will find it in the illogical and unconditional loyalty of a friend. Some will find it through struggle with addiction, finding a strength and love within them that was always there. And some will find it by looking directly into the heart of the Transcendent Beloved, as they cast their confusion into It's loving heart.
Grace: to find our truth, our path; to get up and keep questing after devastating loss; to trust what we cannot see. Each path has a brilliant design through contrast, and what I will call necessary paradox. We crave the crowd, yet we whither without alone time; we feel capable of mastering anything, except our own vulnerability; we rely solely on the wisdom of logic and pragmatism, except when the Mystery steps in and the unexplainable happens. We all contain these polarities within us; why else would we seek resolution, balance, and integration?
EACH AND EVERY HUMAN BEING, marked with the time-stamp of their birth card, and given a path, IS A HERO. Some growth and achievement can only be seen as such from the other side. I have had passed-over souls come to me and cause my heart to apprehend, through their transcendent perspective, the true wealth and value of a life. And I have been moved to tears again and again, through my contemplation of each life-path, by the courage and valor of those who come to this planet.
It is We, Ourselves, that we have come to develop, to nurture into greater expansion and depth, to craft into our ultimate work of art. Why? What is this growth all about? I'm not sure. I know its about love. And I can see what is right in front of me and THAT is all I am responsible for. I think the Creator is about expansion through us, to become fully and authentically EACH of us.
So I thank you most sincerely, for doing the work of becoming YOU. It enriches us all. Don't give up. And know that you have accomplished much more than your eyes can see or your mind can know.
